recently, when contion printed 120 line/inch halftone images on ceramics with 305 mesh/current inch silk, unexpected moire appeared. They are puzzled about the reason for the appearance of moire, because in the past few years, they have used this mesh line ratio for printing without number of times, and they have never encountered moire, and what happened this time? They also carefully examined all links in the whole process, including ink brand, ink color, printing conditions, film quality, line. It can still maintain good chemical stability angle and line number. These factors have not changed, so what is the reason for the moire? They carefully recalled the recent expenditure items again. One of the most important is a new rip. Is there a problem with this rip? It is as accurate as the old rip, and of course, the speed is much higher. What problems can rip bring? They checked the film again. One of them is an active pointer. This time, a major discovery was made. Although the previous line number was set at 120, the measured line number from the film was 110; The measured value of the film produced by the new Rip is really 120. Then calculate the ratio of mesh number to line number, which is more clear: 305/110=2.77, and 305/120=2.54. Usually, the higher the ratio, the less likely it is to have moire. In view of the above reasons, contion considered changing the number of wires to 420 mesh for 120. This will increase the mesh/line number to 3.5, but greatly reduce the amount of ink printed on the substrate, so it becomes an infeasible solution. Ideally, the above ratio should reach 4 or 5, so for 110 lines, the above ratio is 4 when the mesh number is 480, but in actual production, it is not feasible to have too high mesh number. Besides, people sometimes want to use a higher number of lines. One of the solutions to the problem is to try to find an appropriate proportion between the mesh and the number of lines, and optimize the line angle, coordinate the geometric structure, ink conditions, printing conditions and other factors of the national standard mesh of ceramic aluminum new materials declared by the national non ferrous metals Standards Committee, so as to achieve the purpose of avoiding moire. Recently, a new halftone dot structure called "geometric line" has appeared in the market. This structure lengthens the dots, so that we can get a smooth, clear and bright halftone image. There is no rose spot in this structure, which also reduces the possibility of moire, which is a valuable innovation
